Garden clean-ups
A practical reset for gardens that have got away from you.
Garden clean ups for overgrown yards.
Sometimes a garden needs a proper tidy before regular maintenance makes sense. GARDR can assess smaller residential clean-ups: overgrown beds, untidy shrubs, accumulated leaves and vegetation that needs clearing.
A garden clean up, yard clean up or backyard clean up usually means the same thing: getting an overgrown garden back to a starting point. Our garden cleanup service handles a front yard clean up as well as the back, with any green waste removal listed in the quote.
A yard clean up before a sale, inspection or new season.
We agree the areas to work on, identify plants to keep and discuss the amount of green waste before confirming the scope.
What we can include
Garden-bed clearing, weeds and light vegetation, shrub tidies, leaf/debris gathering and general reset.
What is outside this service
Hazardous materials, demolition, major trees or roots beyond manageable scope, unquoted green-waste haulage.
Planning a clean-up.
Start by deciding what stays. Marking the plants you want to keep, and the areas that matter most, avoids losing something you liked. Then think about the volume of green waste: a big clean-up can produce far more than a kerbside bin holds. Finally, consider what happens next. A cleared bed left bare is quickly taken over by weeds again, so it helps to plan mulch, new planting or regular maintenance as part of the job.
Green-waste options.
A kerbside green-waste bin suits small amounts spread over a few weeks. For larger loads, councils run transfer stations or resource recovery centres that take garden waste for a fee, and may offer bookable collections. Check Mitchell Shire Council (Wallan and Beveridge) or Hume City Council (Kalkallo) for current options. If GARDR takes waste away, it's itemised in the quote.
Hidden hazards.
Overgrown yards can hide broken glass, old building materials, wasp nests and, in the warmer months, snakes. Anything that might be asbestos sheeting is left untouched, because it needs specialist handling.
