Information collected
When you request a quote or use our website, we may collect your name, phone number, email, property suburb and address, preferred service, description, access details, photos you choose to upload, communications and quote, booking and payment records. Technical logs may include IP address, time, error logs and basic device and browser details needed to run and secure the website.
Purpose
We use your details to respond to enquiries, inspect and quote work, organise accepted jobs, send service-related messages, process invoices, maintain business records and protect the website against abuse. Promotional marketing is separate and needs your consent.
Photo handling
Uploaded photos may show personal spaces or other people. Please upload only images you have permission to share. Enquiry photos are sent, with your enquiry, to GARDR's business email inbox so we can reply quickly; the website itself doesn't keep a copy. They are not published in our portfolio without separate permission. Location and camera details embedded in photos are removed when they are uploaded.

Storage and security
We use appropriate controls including restricted administrator access, encrypted connections, access-controlled uploads and a password-protected business inbox. No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure.
How long we keep it: [to be confirmed: approved retention periods] After that, information is deleted or de-identified unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
Accessing and correcting your information
You can ask to see the personal information GARDR holds about you, or ask us to correct it if it's inaccurate, out of date or incomplete. Contact [email protected]. We'll confirm who you are before sharing anything, respond within a reasonable time and explain our reasons in writing if we can't do what you ask. There's no charge to make a request. You can also ask us to delete your information, subject to records we must keep by law.

Marketing
GARDR only sends promotional messages with your consent, and every message includes a way to unsubscribe. Service messages about a quote or job you've asked for are not marketing.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. It counts visits with its own cookie-free statistics, stored in a Cloudflare D1 database in GARDR's Cloudflare account (Oceania region). They use no cookies, advertising identifiers or third-party analytics services, and only GARDR can see them. For each page viewed we record:
- The page address and title, the date and time, and whether the page was reached by a link, reload or the back button.
- How you arrived: the referring website (site name and page path, without any query details), campaign tags in the link (such as utm_source), and whether the link came from a Google, Microsoft or Meta advertisement or post.
- Approximate location worked out by Cloudflare from your connection: country, state, suburb or city, postcode area and time zone, plus the name and number of the network you are using (usually your internet provider).
- Your device type and model (where your browser reports it), browser and operating system with version, screen and window size, whether the device has a touch screen, preferred language and general connection speed.
- How the page was used: time spent actively viewing it, how far down it was scrolled, and page loading and responsiveness measurements.
- Actions on the page: taps on our phone number or email address, links to other websites, which quote form steps were reached, and whether a quote request was sent (with the services asked for). What you type into the form is not included.
Your IP address is not stored. It is combined with your browser details and a secret value to make a coded identifier that changes every day. This lets us group the pages viewed in one visit and count unique visitors without recognising you on later days. To tell new visits from returning ones, your browser keeps the date of your last visit (and nothing else) in local storage; you can clear it in your browser's site-data settings. Page views from browsers that identify as automated tools are discarded. These statistics are deleted automatically after about 13 months.
We will update this section before introducing any other analytics or tracking.
