Quotes and bookings

Where do you work?

GARDR currently focuses on Wallan, Beveridge and Kalkallo in Victoria.

How do I get a quote?

Complete the enquiry form with your property suburb, service details and optional photos. GARDR reviews the job before issuing any firm price.

Can I get an estimate from pictures?

Photos are useful for simpler jobs; some work requires an on-site assessment.

Do you have fixed prices?

Each job is priced for the work involved; the quote sets out what is included, rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all price.

What affects the price of a garden job?

Mainly the size of the job, the garden's current condition, access and slope, green-waste handling, any materials, and how often you'd like visits. The written quote itemises each of these before work starts.

Can I schedule work straight away?

The enquiry form is not a confirmed booking. Once the job is assessed and a quote accepted, GARDR confirms the date.

Will you come on weekends?

Timing is confirmed individually based on actual availability; no guaranteed hours are advertised yet.

Do I need to be home?

That depends on access, the kind of work and site arrangements; discuss this when requesting a quote.

Lawns, hedges and gardens

Do you offer one-off lawn mowing?

Yes. Lawns of any size can be quoted for one-off or recurring visits.

Do you mow large acreages?

Yes. Larger blocks and acreage are quoted individually after we've looked at the size, layout and access.

Can you maintain hedges?

Yes, for hedges and shrubs accessible with appropriate equipment and a safe scope.

Is scarifying suitable for buffalo lawn?

Aggressive scarifying can damage buffalo. GARDR assesses the species, growing conditions and safe approach before quoting any treatment.

Can GARDR help with new build gardens?

Smaller planting areas and non-structural raised beds may be suitable; major construction isn't an initial service.

Can you source plants and soil?

Where agreed, materials and delivery can be included as itemised quoted costs.

What we don't do (yet)

Can you remove trees?

Not major or hazardous tree work. Smaller garden plants/shrubs can be assessed, including permit and utility considerations.

Do you grind stumps?

Stump grinding is being considered for the future and is not currently available.

Can you spray herbicide?

Chemical weed spraying is not part of the initial advertised offering. Manual weed removal can be assessed.

Do you take away garden rubbish?

We can discuss waste handling; any off-site removal depends on transport and lawful disposal arrangements and must be quoted separately.

Your online account

Can I manage my garden visits online?

Online accounts are coming soon for GARDR customers. You'll be able to see upcoming visits and who's coming, book times for quoted work, postpone, skip or cancel, and read photos and messages from your gardener. Until then, get in touch to book or change a visit.

What your account can do

Do I need a password for my GARDR account?

No. When online accounts open, you'll sign in with a link emailed to the address you use with GARDR, so there's nothing to remember or reset.

How signing in works

Can other customers see my bookings?

No. When online accounts open, you'll only ever see your own visits, notes and messages, and nobody else will see yours.

Regular care

Do you have maintenance packages?

GARDR can discuss recurring visits and tailored annual care plans with a written scope.
